Ben had a very busy Christmas 2007! (That's why he's been slacking on the blog.) He's only 1, but what a social life he has!

Ben is a pretty picky eater these days. However, give him a few of his favorite foods and he won't leave a scrap behind. A few of his favorite foods these days are banana's (Nana's), crackers, cheerios, and as we found out on Thanksgiving, Sweet Potatoes (thanks Uncle Steve!). He actually picked up his plate tonight to lick up leftover Sweet Potatoes - where does he learn that?! See him in action below with another of his favorites....

First Haircut

We took Ben to get his very first haircut a few weeks ago. He was pretty brave, and did quite well with it.

I'm not too sure about this...

Maybe if I sit really still I won't lose my ear.

Ben's 1st Birthday Party!

Ben has a lot of people who love him and helped him celebrate his very 1st birthday this last Sunday. He had cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents all there to cheer him on, and he sure had a good time.

When it came time to open presents....

he had no shortage of help!

All of these presents sure can get overwhelming!

It didn't take him long to get into the spirit of things.
