Summer Fun

As summer comes to an end (much to quickly!) we can't help but share a few of our favorite memories of Ben at the beach. He sure took advantage of his very first summer!

Ben's first boat ride! It was a little chilly, but he still had a good time.

How cute are these guys! Ben with his friend Ethan at Elm Creek Beach.

Kendall (and her parents Jay and Erin) came to visit Ben up in Crosslake for a weekend in July. They sure had a good time hanging out at the lake!

Ben had no problem with the concept of relaxing and sunbathing!

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Labor Day Weekend 2007! Enjoy the last true weekend of summer.

Child Labor

We heard that one of the benefits of having kids is they get to help around the house....

Hey Mom and Dad, the lawn's getting a little long!

What?! You want me to mow?

How do I empty this thing?

I have to do everything around here!

Minnesota State Fair

Ben got to experience the Minnesota State Fair for his first time on Saturday. He got to see and do so many things!

Ben had a staring contest with a cow....the cow won.

He got to ride on the Merry-Go-Round with his big cousin Ava! Ava loved it, Ben had no opinion.

He got to see Fergie!

This is Ben watching Fergie.

He loved the big tractors!

Yep, Ben had a pretty good time his first time at the fair.

Feed myself? No problem!

Clearly, I've got this spoon thing down.

See, I did it all by myself!

OK, the sippy cup wasn't as easy as I thought.

Oh my gosh!

Sophie, check, is that a bug?!

Ohhh, good, it's just a puff I must have dropped...I wasn't afraid.

Our first blog!!

We figured it's about time, we have to do our part in giving people something to do during their work day. Plus, Ben wants everyone to know that he is a big boy and can stand, stand, stand!
