Ben's First Bike!

Thanks to Uncle Steve's garage sale skills, Ben got his very first bike, complete with training wheels! He was so excited to use it. Peddling is a practiced skill and so we've been doing a lot of practicing. He's able to bike down about 5 houses to a nearby trail...next we have to work on steering and watching where you are going!

"All right Mommy, I think I've got it"

Fishing Opener

This year marks our first year heading up north to Fishing Opener as a family! Ben was quite excited and made sure to remind us all week that he needs a fishing pole. A quick stop to Gander on the way to get his new pole and we were on our way.

I'm ready, let's go!

"Hang on buddy, we are on our way to the fishing hole"

"I got one! It's a bass daddy, you have to hold him like this."

Giving that bass a kiss before throwing him back...that's for good luck.

Ben's big suprise!

A couple of weekends ago we took Ben to the Target Center for the first time! We told him we were going to take him to a big suprise! He had no idea what we were going to do.

Um, Dad, did you know these stairs are moving all by themselves?!

"Ok, where do we go now?"

"What's going to happen next?"

"Oh, it's Thomas!!"

"Thanks for the great suprise, now can I climb these stairs all by myself?"

Ben was in a trance through the whole show...he absolutely loved it! It was so fun for us to take Ben to his first big outing like that. We can't wait to do it again!
