Happy 32nd birthday Daddy (wow, that's old!). I am one lucky boy to have a Daddy who loves me as much as you do. Thanks for playing with me so much and taking such good care of me.

Great Grandpa and Grandma Shallman

Ben is one lucky little guy...he get's to know so many of his great grandparents. On Saturday, he had a great time playing with Great-Grandpa and Grandma Shallman. They had so many fun toys (some that I played with and loved when I was little!). And of course Great Grandma insisted on a treat, so he got to try ice cream for the first time - he was a big fan!

He loved this little Ben sized rocking chair.



He loved passing the golf ball to Great Grandma.

We finally meet Emilia!

Jeff and Sarah came for a visit today, and we finally got to meet little Emilia (3 mo). Such a cutie! By next summer, these two second cousins will be running around together at all the family gatherings!

It's pretty easy to see that these two cousins are going to be great friends, and get into all kinds of trouble as they grow up. We're going to have to keep a close eye on these two!

The Stay Birthday Celebration

We had a fun gathering at our house for Chris, Mary (aka Mom), and Our birthdays on Sunday. The weather was perfect, we spent a lot of time outside and all of the kids helped break in our new swing set.

Deck Bash

We had a great time Labor Day weekend in Crosslake. Perfect weather, boating (on Ox and the Chain!), hiking in the woods and just relaxing. However, the most fun was the deck bash. Dad and Mom Shallman worked hard all summer finishing the 4 decks on their house and they turned out great. Of course we had to initiate each one! (Or, at least the three main ones).
