BIG boy bed!

Since I am going to be a big brother in November, I have to let the baby use the crib. This means I need to move from my toddler bed into another new bed (and another room!). I sure am nice to let that baby have my old stuff, however, it also means....

I get to have a new BIG big boy bed! Look at how much room I have now!

Camping Weekend with the Stays

Every July I get to go camping at Fritz's resort with my mom and dad, Grandma and Grandpa Stay, Uncle Chris and Aunt Michelle and my cousins Jake, Julianna and Jeremiah! I was pretty old this year so I got to do a lot of fun things! All the adults complained about the cold, but it didn't slow me down!

I never had so much fun riding my bike! I got to ride around and around a big circle all by myself!

Ahh, the sun! I guess it is nice to have summer weather!



** As a side note, this was the weekend I decided to start using the potty all the time. I only had one wet pull-up the whole weekend! It was underwear for me on Monday and no looking back!

The Maple Grove Day's fun was never ending! After a morning of fun with friends, our cousins from Seattle came for a visit on their way through town.

Maple Grove Day's Fun!

Maple Grove Day's kicked off with the parade, and follows with a fun filled day of activities at the Community Center on Saturday. Petting Zoos, Pony Rides, Jumpers, ...there was no end to the fun!

Quick, Sophie, our Dad's aren't looking! If we climb fast enough we can get into the kangaroo's cage!

Ben's first medal! He decided "kicking" a ball into a hole in the board was too easy...so he decided to pick it up and drop the ball in. Hmmm...still earned him a medal.

Ben and Sophie have been best buds since the beginning...possibly blossoming into something more?

1st Annual Maple Grove Parade Party

One benefit of our new house is that the Maple Grove Parade runs right behind our house. So we figured this would be a good reason to have a party, so here are some pictures from our 1st Annual Maple Grove Parade Party.

Our Week Long Vacation: Saturday

Happy 4th of July! This was our last day of vacation. Grandma and Grandpa were back and we went out on the boat and joined the Ox Lake boat parade.

I helped daddy drive the boat...and he had funny hair!

It was really nice to have Grandma and Grandpa back!

Friday night we went and got Ice Cream and watched a band.

I even got to sit up on the steps with a bunch of other kids and the singer of the band!

And I found a really cool rock to sit on.

I had a great time on my trip and can't wait for next year's vacation!

Our Week Long Vacation: Friday

Friday was a beautiful day! We spent a lot of the day on the lake and swimming. Friday night we met up with Uncle Steve, Aunt Tenielle and Ava and went to dinner and then fireworks!

I thought it was fun to float on my kiddie boat like this.

This was yummy kettle corn we got to eat while waiting for the fireworks to start.

I don't think these guys know this is supposed to be fun....I think they were nervous about the fireworks.

Our Week Long Vacation: Thursday

Thursday was fun! We went to Pequot Lakes since they were having their town festival. I got to get Shark shoes and my face painted'

I told Daddy I wanted one of these...I got shark shoes instead.

I went swimming in the lake!! And I went in the deep water, off the boat, with Daddy. I think I like the beach better.

Our Week Long Vacation: Wednesday

Wednesday started getting a little warmer. We biked into town in the morning and had breakfast at Aunt Bea's. Then we went over to the Campground and Dam to check things out.

It was interesting to watch the water rush out from the dam.

Thinking about going down the slide...I decided not too.

In the afternoon, we finally go out on the lake! Some loons popped up really, really close to the boat! How cool!
